신생아실과 장례식장, 새 삶의 시작과 끝을 알리는울음소리우린 삶과 죽음의 연속성에 놓여있네삶은 사랑, 행복 그리고 고통의 연속이지만죽음은 이승의 삶을 내려놓아 홀가분한 자유를 누릴 수있네우린 삶을 경험하지만 죽음은 경험할 수 없네우린 언젠가 죽음이 올 것을 알지만 이렇듯 태연하게하루를 살고 있네만약 우리가 영원한 삶을 가지고 산다면 어땠을까?— 시작과 끝이 존재하듯 — 어쩌면 죽음이 있기에축복이네오늘 우린 죽음 앞에 한걸음 다가가네마침내 우리가 죽음을 맞이한 날, 고통 없는 죽음을맞이한다면 얼마나 좋을까?어어이 어어이 울지들 말게나안식(安息)과 자유를 누릴 수 있는 그곳에 내 먼저가서 — 그대 오기만을 고대하며 — 있겠네우리도 당신처럼 저 먼 곳에서 다시 만날 수 있기를기원하며언젠가 하늘 끝 그 먼 길로 떠나겠네 — 천사여!악마여! —우리도 당신 곁을 따라가겠노라!(2025년 7월 18일)
In the nursery and the funeral hall, cries announce thebeginning and the end of a new life;We stand upon the continuity of life and death.Life is a sequence of love, joy, and sorrow,Yet death lets us cast off this earthly weight to embracea boundless freedom.We experience life, yet death remains beyond ourreach;Knowing it shall come one day, we live our hours withsuch serene composure.What if we were bound to an eternal life?— Just as every beginning holds an end — perhapsdeath is the ultimate blessing.Today, we take one step closer to death.On the day we finally meet it, how grand it would be toembrace a passing without pain.Ahoy, ahoy, do not weep.To that place of rest and liberty, I shall go first —awaiting the day you arrive.Praying that we may meet again in that distant realm,as you have.One day, I shall embark on that long journey to theedge of heaven — O Angel!, O Demon! —We shall follow by your side, too.(July 18, 2025)
